We’ll always tailor an appropriate blend of modalities to your needs. If you’re exclusively looking for one form of support or another that works too.

Acupuncture

After over a decade of practicing as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, having completed over 4,000 hours of intensive training at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and Southwest Acupuncture College —I can say with certainty: acupuncture is medicine that tunes the human instrument to the frequency of health.

The Art of Restoring Flow

At the heart of Chinese Medicine lies an elegant truth: Where there is no flow, there is pain. Where there is pain, there is no flow. This applies not just to physical discomfort—headaches, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, chronic pain—but to the subtler forms of suffering that arise when our life force becomes stuck or misdirected.

Pain, in all its forms, is information. It tells us where our rivers have become dammed, where our inner rhythms have fallen out of sync with the deeper harmonies of health. Through acupuncture, we don't simply suppress these messages—we listen to them, honor them, and gently guide your system back toward its natural state of dynamic balance.

Beyond Symptom Management: Treating the Root

While I absolutely treat symptoms—and often with remarkable effectiveness—my training in the inner tradition of Chinese Medicine means I'm always asking deeper questions: What patterns in your constitution, your life, your relationships to stress and rest, are creating the conditions for this illness to arise? How can we not just relieve your suffering, but strengthen your capacity for resilience and vitality?

This is medicine that sees you as a whole being—body, mind, energy, and spirit—and recognizes that true healing happens when all these dimensions come into greater harmony. Each acupuncture point carries its own unique frequency, its own gift for restoring particular qualities of flow and function. When I select points for your treatment, I'm essentially composing a therapeutic symphony, designed specifically for your body's needs in this moment.

The Scope of What We Address

Emotional & Mental Health: Acupuncture excels at treating anxiety, depression, and stress-related conditions by regulating the nervous system and restoring emotional balance. The release of endorphins during treatment creates natural mood elevation, while the deeper constitutional work addresses the root patterns that create vulnerability to emotional distress.

Pain Relief & Injury Recovery: Whether you're dealing with post-surgical pain, athletic injuries, chronic conditions, or the accumulated tensions of daily life, acupuncture works both locally and systemically—reducing inflammation, improving circulation, and activating your body's own healing mechanisms. This isn't just pain management; it's pain resolution.

Digestive Health: From IBS and inflammatory bowel conditions to undiagnosed digestive distress, acupuncture addresses gut health by calming the stress response and bringing the nervous and hormonal systems into better balance. Your digestive system is intimately connected to your emotional well-being—healing one supports the other.

Reproductive & Hormonal Balance: Chinese Medicine has sophisticated methods for addressing hormonal imbalances, from painful or irregular periods to PCOS, fertility challenges, and menopausal transitions. For men dealing with fertility or sexual health issues, acupuncture offers gentle yet effective support for optimal function.

Pediatric Care: Children respond remarkably well to Shonishin—a gentle, needle-free acupuncture technique that's perfect for infants through teens. Whether addressing sleep issues, recurring ear infections, digestive problems, or immune system support, Chinese Medicine offers safe, effective tools for supporting your child's developing health.

An Integrative Approach

What makes my practice unique is the seamless integration of multiple healing modalities. I often combine acupuncture with craniosacral therapy, creating treatments that address both energetic flow and nervous system regulation simultaneously. Sometimes shamanic healing practices inform my understanding of what's needed for your healing journey. This integrative approach allows for deeper, more lasting transformation than any single modality alone.

The Deeper Purpose

After treating hundreds of patients over more than a decade, I've come to understand that my role extends beyond the technical application of needles. I'm here to create a healing sanctuary where your body remembers its own wisdom, where your nervous system can finally exhale, and where the deeper patterns that create illness can be met with compassion and skillfully transformed.

This is medicine rooted in thousands years of wisdom, informed by cutting-edge understanding of physiology and psychology, and delivered with the attunement that comes from years of dedicated practice. It's medicine that honors both your immediate need for relief and your soul's deeper calling toward wholeness.

Your Journey Toward Health

Every person who walks into my treatment room brings their own unique constellation of strengths, challenges, and healing potential. My job is to listen—with my hands, my heart, and my years of training—to what your body is asking for, and to respond with precisely the right combination of points, techniques, and therapeutic presence to support your return to vitality.

Whether you're seeking relief from specific symptoms or support for your overall well-being and resilience, I'm here to offer you the profound gifts that this ancient medicine has to give.

Ready to discover what acupuncture can offer your unique path to healing? I'd be honored to support your journey.

Transformational Coaching

The coaching I offer doesn't fit neatly into conventional categories—and that's precisely what makes it so effective. Over the past five years of explicit coaching practice, building on more than a decade as a healing practitioner, I've developed an approach that meets you where the analytical mind meets the wisdom of the body, where personal transformation intersects with spiritual awakening, where ancient wisdom traditions inform cutting-edge psychology.

An Integrated Mastery

What I bring to coaching isn't found in any single certification program. It's an integration born from years of deep practice across multiple domains: my doctorate in Chinese Medicine, training in somatic coaching through the respected Strozzi Institute, advanced work in developmental psychology and shadow integration, craniosacral therapy, shamanic healing practices, and over a decade of clinical experience supporting thousands of people through profound transformation.

This isn't coaching that stays safely in the realm of goal-setting and action plans. This is coaching that dares to work with the fullness of who you are—your nervous system, your energy patterns, your unconscious beliefs, your soul's calling, and yes, your practical life challenges—all simultaneously.

Where Heart, Body, and Soul Meet

My coaching begins in the body because that's where your deepest wisdom lives. Before we can create lasting change in your external world, we need to understand what's happening in your internal landscape. What patterns are your nervous system running that keep you stuck? What parts of yourself have gone into hiding and need to be welcomed back? What does your energy want to move toward, and what old stories are blocking that flow?

Through a combination of somatic awareness, developmental shadow work, and the presence I've cultivated through years of spiritual practice, I help you access aspects of yourself that may have been disconnected or unavailable. This isn't therapy—though it can be deeply healing. This isn't just strategic planning—though we absolutely create clear pathways forward. This is transformation that happens at the level of who you are being, not just what you are doing.

The Science and the Sacred

I work from a framework that honors both rigorous psychological understanding and the insights of wisdom traditions. We might explore your patterns through the lens of developmental psychology, understanding how your current challenges connect to earlier life stages and what integration looks like. We might work with polyvagal theory to help your nervous system find safety and connection. We might dive into shadow work to reclaim the disowned parts of yourself that hold tremendous energy and creativity.

And always, we're working from the understanding that you are not broken and need fixing. You are whole and seeking fuller expression. My role is to create the conditions where your own inherent wisdom can emerge and guide the changes you're seeking.

What Makes This Different

After supporting hundreds of people through coaching processes, I've come to understand that my particular gift lies in the quality of presence I bring—a presence informed by years of meditation, shamanic practice, and working intimately with the human energy system. I can sense what wants to emerge in you often before you can articulate it yourself.

I work with the full spectrum of human experience: your ambitious visionary self AND your scared, protective parts. Your desire for success AND your longing for meaning. Your need for practical strategies AND your soul's call for deeper authenticity. Most coaching approaches ask you to choose. I help you integrate.

The Scope of Transformation

The people I work with are typically dealing with some combination of:

Life Transitions - Career changes, relationship shifts, parenting challenges, or spiritual emergence that require not just new strategies but new ways of being

Leadership Development - Particularly for those in helping professions who want to lead from authenticity rather than old paradigms of command and control

Creative Blocks - When your creative expression feels stuck or when you're being called to share your gifts more boldly in the world

Relationship Patterns - Recurring dynamics in partnerships, family systems, or professional relationships that keep creating the same painful outcomes

Spiritual Integration - When your spiritual practice or awakening experiences need to be integrated into daily life and practical decision-making

Shadow Work - When you recognize that parts of yourself you've rejected or denied are actually holding keys to your next level of growth and power

Beyond Traditional Coaching

What happens in our work together often transcends what people expect from coaching. Because I can work with your nervous system, your energy patterns, your unconscious material, and your practical goals simultaneously, shifts can happen more quickly and at deeper levels than traditional approaches allow.

You might find yourself not just achieving your goals, but discovering that your goals themselves transform as you come into greater contact with your authentic desires. You might resolve long-standing relationship patterns not through communication techniques alone, but through reclaiming disowned aspects of yourself. You might find creative breakthrough not through forcing inspiration, but through creating safety for your most vulnerable and powerful parts to emerge.

Individual and Group Work

I offer coaching both individually and in group settings, depending on what serves your growth best. Group work adds the powerful dimension of witnessing and being witnessed, of seeing your patterns reflected in others' journeys, and of practicing new ways of being in real relationship.

Often, I integrate coaching with my other healing modalities—acupuncture to support nervous system regulation, craniosacral work to help your body integrate new insights, or shamanic practices to connect with guidance that transcends the analytical mind.

Your Unique Path

Every person I work with brings their own constellation of gifts, challenges, and calling. My role isn't to impose a predetermined methodology, but to attune to what wants to emerge in you and create the optimal conditions for that emergence. Some people need more somatic grounding, others need help accessing their emotional world, still others need support in claiming their power or integrating their spiritual experiences.

What I can promise is that you'll be met with the full depth of my training, experience, and presence. You'll be seen in your wholeness—not just your goals or your problems, but the magnificent complexity of who you are and who you're becoming.

Ready to explore what's possible when coaching addresses not just your mind and behaviors, but your nervous system, your energy, your shadow, and your soul's calling? I'd be honored to support your journey of becoming.

CranioSacral Therapy

There's a profound intelligence that lives within your body—a wisdom deeper than thought, older than words. This intelligence knows how to heal a cut, how to mend a broken bone, how to regulate your heartbeat without your conscious involvement. Craniosacral Therapy is a way of listening to and supporting this innate healing wisdom.

The Body's Natural Rhythms

Beneath the familiar rhythms of breath and heartbeat flows something even more subtle—the gentle expansion and contraction of your cerebrospinal fluid as it bathes your brain and spinal cord. This primary respiratory mechanism, as it's called in osteopathic medicine, reflects the health and vitality of your entire nervous system.

When we experience injury, trauma, or chronic stress, restrictions can develop in the tissues and membranes that house this delicate system. These restrictions are like holding patterns—places where the body has organized itself around old wounds or overwhelm, creating areas of decreased flow and vitality.

A Conversation Through Touch

Craniosacral therapy is essentially a conversation between my hands and your body's wisdom. Through gentle, non-invasive touch—often so light you might wonder if anything is happening at all—I'm able to feel into the subtle rhythms and restrictions within your craniosacral system.

This isn't about me "fixing" anything. Instead, I'm creating a safe, supportive environment where your body can remember its own capacity for healing and reorganization. Think of it as offering your nervous system an invitation to soften, to release what it's been holding, to find its way back to greater ease and flow.

The Experience of Deep Listening

People often describe craniosacral sessions as profoundly peaceful. You might notice a sense of being held in something larger than yourself—a quality of presence that allows your system to drop into deeper layers of rest and restoration than you typically access in daily life.

Some people drift into a dreamlike state or fall into the deepest sleep they've had in months. Others remain aware but feel subtle movements, warmth, or tingling as their body shifts and releases. There's no "right" way to experience it—your body knows what it needs.

Integration with Acupuncture

I often weave craniosacral work together with acupuncture, as these two healing arts complement each other beautifully. While acupuncture works with the body's energetic pathways and can create specific therapeutic effects, craniosacral therapy supports the nervous system's capacity to integrate those changes at a deep, foundational level.

Together, they create a particularly potent environment for healing—addressing you simultaneously through energetic, physical, and nervous system pathways. The combination often allows for shifts that might take much longer to achieve with either modality alone.

What This Work Addresses

Craniosacral therapy is especially effective for nervous system regulation, helping to move you out of chronic fight-or-flight patterns and into the rest-and-digest state where true healing happens. This makes it valuable for:

  • Chronic pain and tension patterns

  • Sleep difficulties and fatigue

  • Anxiety and stress-related conditions

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Recovery from physical or emotional trauma

  • Supporting overall nervous system resilience

But perhaps most importantly, it offers something our culture rarely provides—permission to slow down, to be held, to trust in your body's inherent capacity for healing and wisdom.

Beyond Symptom Relief

While craniosacral therapy can certainly help with specific symptoms, what I find most meaningful about this work is how it supports people in remembering their own wholeness. In a world that often treats the body as a machine to be fixed, craniosacral work offers a different paradigm—one that recognizes your body as intelligent, capable, and worthy of profound respect.

When your nervous system feels safe enough to release what it's been holding, something beautiful happens. Not only do symptoms often resolve, but people frequently report feeling more like themselves—more present, more connected to their own inner knowing, more able to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace.

If you're curious about experiencing this gentle yet powerful form of healing, I'd be honored to support your journey back to greater ease and vitality.

Medicinal Herbalism

For millennia, people have been relying on the natural world for health and healing. Many of our modern day medications, like aspirin, are derived from natural plant compounds (white willow bark). Herbal medicine can be a potent part of prevention and treatment of illness, and like acupuncture, addresses both symptoms and underlying physiological patterns that are causing symptoms.

Specifically the medicinal herbalism of Chinese Medicine is quite profound and potent. Where many common and familiar “medicinal herbs” like mint, chamomile, or cramp bark may be like over the counter medicines, the herbal formulas from the Chinese Herbal Apothecary are more akin to prescription medicine. The one difference being that herbs cannot override the physiology of the body (the way pharmaceuticals can), but rather work by potentiating what the body is already capable of.

The beauty of herbal medicine is in its ability to be tailored for each individual's needs. Two different people who are suffering from the same illness, will get a custom herbal formula for their specific body.

Shamanic Healing

Working with the unseen realms of non-ordinary reality is one of humanity’s oldest and most universal spiritual practices. For thousands of years, people across all cultures have turned to shamanic methods to access guidance, healing, and connection with the sacred forces that surround us.

In my practice, I work within the framework of Core Shamanism—the universal principles and techniques that appear across shamanic traditions worldwide. This approach, developed through the research of anthropologist Michael Harner and refined by master teachers like Sandra Ingerman and Betsy Bergstrom, offers a safe and effective way to access the wisdom and healing power of the spirit world.

What is Shamanic Work?

Shamanic practice recognizes that there are multiple layers of reality beyond what we perceive with our ordinary senses. Through techniques like journeying—entering an altered state of consciousness using rhythmic drumming—we can connect with compassionate helping spirits who offer guidance, healing, and restoration of our wholeness.

This isn’t about belief or imagination. It’s about direct, personal experience of the sacred forces that want to support our healing and growth.

How I Use Shamanic Practices

In my work, I often combine shamanic healing with acupuncture, as I find these ancient modalities beautifully complement and enhance each other. Both work with subtle energies and recognize the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit.

The shamanic services I offer include:

- Reconnecting you with your protective and empowering spirit allies

- Teaching you to safely access non-ordinary reality for your own healing and wisdom

- Removing unwanted energies or patterns that don’t belong to you

- Working with the spirits of place to create harmony in your home or workspace

- Seeking spiritual guidance for life decisions and challenges

- Creating sacred rituals to mark transitions and invoke healing

A Partnership Approach

What I love most about shamanic work is that it’s fundamentally collaborative. Rather than positioning myself as the expert who fixes you, I serve as a bridge between you and your own healing wisdom. The spirits I work with have a perspective that transcends my human understanding, and they consistently guide us to the heart of what needs attention.

Sometimes this means addressing soul loss—parts of ourselves that went into hiding during difficult times and need to be welcomed home. Other times it involves clearing energetic patterns that have been passed down through family lines. The spirits see what we can’t always see and offer exactly what’s needed for your unique healing journey.

Integrating Ancient Wisdom with Modern Life

The beauty of Core Shamanism is that it doesn’t require you to adopt any particular belief system or cultural practice. Instead, it offers practical tools for accessing the spiritual support that’s always available to us. These methods work whether you’re dealing with physical illness, emotional challenges, major life transitions, or simply seeking deeper connection with your authentic self.

In our sessions, we might journey together to heal hidden parts, clear energetic blocks that are affecting your health, or seek guidance from your helping spirits about decisions you’re facing. Often, I’ll combine this work with acupuncture to create an especially potent healing experience that addresses you on multiple levels simultaneously.

Your Own Shamanic Abilities

One of my greatest joys is helping people discover their own innate shamanic abilities. We all have the capacity to connect with helping spirits and access non-ordinary reality—it’s part of our human birthright. Through gentle guidance and practice, you can learn to journey safely on your own, develop relationships with your spirit allies, and bring their wisdom into your daily life.

Whether you’re drawn to shamanic work for physical healing, emotional restoration, spiritual growth, or simply curiosity about the unseen dimensions of reality, I’m here to support your exploration with compassion, respect, and deep reverence for the mystery.

If you’re feeling called to explore shamanic healing, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can discover what the spirits have to offer for your unique path of healing and wholeness.
